Mikko Joensuu is a celebrated singer-songwriter whose latest album Long Ark was released in January 2024 after a seven-year break. The 82-minute album, which contains ten tracks, has garnered praise from abroad. The album’s February release concert at Helsinki’s Musiikkitalo was sold out.

Mikko Joensuu’s album trilogy Amen, released between 2015 and 2017, was a unique work of art that won him, among others, the Teosto Prize. The artist is also known as the lead singer of Joensuu 1685.
