Semmarit on Mammarit club tour to celebrate 35th anniversary
Semmarit, the oddball of the music world, known for their captivatingly eccentric live performances, will celebrate their 35 years of mature adulthood in many ways. The Mammarit club tour will kick off on 4 October at the Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki. The club tour will end on 30 November in the group’s home town, on the stage of the legendary Tanssisali Lutakko. The Mammarit tour will feature brand new Semmarit production, revamped versions of older songs, as well as guaranteed familiar Semmarit hits as they are. The tour will also see the release of a new album.
Semmarit has created hundreds of original songs in their career, hosted their own TV series and performed all over the world; both the Great Wall of China and Hollywood have been seen. Yet the band has not the slightest interest in taking their foot off the accelerator. The anniversary will continue with a concert tour in spring 2025, when Semmarit will perform in the country’s leading concert halls.
